An Overview Of Our Website Resources

At Dream Greener, we strive each and every day to set ourselves apart from the competition and make your choice of landscape provider that much easier. We do this through our rigid quality assurance practices and employee training programs, to ensure that the quality of work on our properties is well above industry standards. Another way in which we like to highlight our investment in our customers is on our website. Questions are often asked of us surrounding a variety of landscaping topics. Our thought was that it would be prudent to actively and preemptively answer as many of these potential questions as possible, so our clients can stay informed. We utilize our resource tab on our website to do this, and within our resources there are a variety of places you can go to find a wealth of landscaping information. From our blog to published e-books, this is an overview of our website resources.

The Dream Greener Blog

This is the most active portion of our resources, as we consistently publish a few blogs every single month. These blogs cover topics relevant to both the current season, and our region. As you go back through the many pages of blogs, you will find blogs written about everything from spring planting of annuals, to the benefits of snow removal in the wintertime. We even dive into the facets of working with a landscaping company, and what you should expect. Our goal is to be the expert you turn to when you have a lawn care or landscaping question, and every answer can be found, or will be found within our blog.

Local Weeds Resources

One of the most common topics that we actively field questions on is about invasive weeds native to the Pittsburgh area. For this reason, we have two dedicated pages to local turf weeds, with comprehensive information on identification, to extermination. On one hand, we provide our “Lawn Weeds E-Book”, which is a downloadable PDF document that covers all of the potential broadleaf weeds you could encounter, and how to deal with them. Next, we have our “Turf Weeds” page, in which we actively add new and relevant weeds, with more information on how to identify and treat them. Both of these pages can be extremely helpful to local homeowners.

Local Pests Resources

Once again, we have multiple pages dedicated to covering local pests and their potential risks. Our “Insect and Pests Identification” page does exactly what its title states, and helps you identify harmful critters in your lawn. Additionally, the “Lawn Pests E-Book”, provides Pittsburgh area homeowners with a more in-depth look at how to deal with lawn insects, in an easily digestible and understood way. Pests are one of our biggest fears, as who wants to wake up to a large brown spot in their yard? Utilizing these resources can keep your lawn greener than ever.

General Landscaping Informational Resources

Risks such as disease, pests, and weeds are only one small part of managing a landscape. There are maintenance tasks that must be performed, and at certain times of the year. Our landscape comprehensive “Greener Grounds Guide” is an e-book that covers everything you need to know when looking to improve your landscape. We may be biased, but this is a must-read for any local homeowner. However, that is not all, as we also have our mini-guide on revitalizing your lawn, which covers aeration, overseeding, and compost, three essential pieces of landscaping in Pittsburgh.
